UnZip Me is a very simple utility to extract your compressed files in ZIP format. It's very easy to use, with an intuitive and clean interface. It only has 6 buttons: Browse, Open Directory and Unzip Files; the other three buttons are About, Help and Close. So, you'll never need the HELP, unless you want to know what a ZIP file is. Anyway, if you are extracting ZIP files most likely you already know what a ZIP file is. With this rudimentary program you can't open your compressed files with double click, you can't extract files with a right click from Windows Explorer and of course you can't compress files. The download is about 1 MB. At least it is freeware.
If you're using Windows XP or Vista, you can extract your ZIP files right from Windows Explorer, you don't need to install anything else. If you are using a previous version of Windows or want to compress files or add functionality, you should use 7zip, a powerful, clean and open source file compression software or just try one of the many commercial alternatives.
